I have a Madison Confederate Jasmine and my leaves are turning light green with reddish spots on them however some of the leaves are still deep green and beautiful. What does this mean? Does this mean the plant has a diease? Is it infested with bugs? It is still blooming white flowers and growing please help? I have been to the local home depot and the suggested Ortho Bug B Gon MAX once a week which is costly, time commsuming, but doesn't seem to be working considering I have been doing it for 6 weeks now and the spots are still there and continue to show up on more leaves. and spraying each leaves is every annoying... I am open for any suggestions...

Thanks

Jamie,

I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question. The spring rush has brought a deluge of questions and we are working hard to catch up!

Hold off on the Ortho product then. One cause of such symptoms is soggy soil conditions. You can't stop the rain but you can stop irrigating. Give it some time to recover. There is not product that can fix those symptoms but with time and decent soil moisture conditions the plant should be fine.

Thanks for the question. Best wishes for a wonderful gardening season. Please stop in again soon!
