| I would like to keep the white rock mulch that I'm currently using in an area in front of my house, but am getting ready to plant new shrubs and am worrying about them getting too much heat from the rocks. As a compromise, could I keep the rocks and place organic mulch around each shrub, say a foot in diameter around each shrub base? |
| That would probably help somewhat although the wider the better. Also remove the plastic right around the shrubs. |
