Pear Tree - Knowledgebase Question

I would like to know if I plant a pear tree in June (in Indiana)how long would it take to give fruits? The tree is about 5 to 6 feet tall, not purchased but thinking of!

Please let me know.

It will probably take 3-5 years for your pear tree to be mature enough to produce fruit. Most pears need a second tree for good pollination so be sure to check the tree tag for recommendations.
