|Most rhododendron flowers last only a few weeks. If your flowers started to open and died immediately, it might be a symptom of water stress. Make sure your plants get a deep soaking once each week. Snap off the dead flower trusses to make way for next year's flower buds (which will develop over the summer months). Hope you get to enjoy the flowers longer next year!
