I recently bought Encore Azaleas and planted them in April, a few have died. What other shrub can I plant that would bloom white or pink flowers, get no more than 4 feet tall, full to partial sun, and low maintence?

Based on your description you might try Prunus laurocerasus "Otto Luyken", possibly some of the smaller maturing rhododendrons, and hydrangeas. It would be important to determine why the azaleas died before you plant more shrubs. Also, the amount of sun and what time of day it is sunny can affect your selection, as can the soil type, moisture level and amount of wind (especially in winter). I have mentioned plants that should do well in conditions similar to those enjoyed by azaleas -- morning only sun or bright dappled light all day, evenly moist yet well drained soil, humusy, acidic soil. Good luck with your new shrubs!
