I planted a Blue Boy Holly last Fall and it did very well. It is in a morning sun spot in the front of my house. However, this Spring, as the new leaves began to appear on the bush, the many of the existing leaves began to turn yellow and eventually drop from the limbs. What, if anything, is wrong?

I don't think there is anything wrong with your holly. All evergreen plants eventually lose their oldest leaves, in favor of the plant producing healthy new leaves. As long as you are seeing new growth, your holly is just doing what comes naturally - developing fresh new leaves.

Best wishes with your garden!
