Why would my dappled (peachtipped) willow have new growth that is pale yellow/almost white instead of peach as in years past? Could my soil be too sweet, my husband spreads a lot of lime.

Thanks

The leaves may just be immature and might take a few weeks to fully develop their color. If not, go easy on the lime but feed your willow with an 8-8-8 or 10-10-10 fertilizer. This should promote healthy new growth.

Best wishes with your willow!
