|I have recently planted some Black Eyed Suzys in my flower garden One of the plants is being eaten alive. I can find no bug, I need help to keep from losing this plant.|
|Black-eyed Susan plants are normally pest resistant and they recover quickly if they are attacked by pests. If you can't find the pests, the damage was probably done by caterpillars who are now long gone, or by snails and slugs, who could be hiding in your garden under debris. To rid your garden of these pests, use Sluggo, an Iron Phosphate based snail and slug bait. It is harmless to wildlife, humans and pets and it is really effective.
Best wishes with your new plants!
