My cranesbill geraniums are huge and are about through blooming. Can I cut them back to get them to rebloom? When Can I divide them? |
You can cut them back to encourage rebloom, yes. It will also tidy them up and keep them more compact. Keep reasonably well watered for best reblooming. Division is usually done in early spring. You can wait until the plant is losing vigor at the center after three to five years, or divide sooner if more plants are desired. |
