About three weeks ago I planted a variety of shrubs, perennial and annual flowers in a newly created garden. I mixed topsoil (very clay like)from a local sand and gravel store with Miracle-Gro garden soil per the instructions. Now a few lower leaves on some of the flowers are turning yellow. Normally, I'd think I've over watered, but I don't think that's the problem since I've been hand watering just once a day. In addition to over watering that can sometimes cause leaves to yellow, what else could be the cause? I've spent a small fortune at Home Depot on the plants, soil and plant food so any thoughts/comments that may save the garden would be appreciated. Thanks. Julia |
