My cherry tomato is fun of ants. I want to get rid of them. |
I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question. The spring rush has brought a deluge of questions and we are working hard to catch up! If ants are in the soil around your tomato you can often get them to leave by sprinkling cinnamon on the soil surface. Depending on the type of ants you may also be able to use a bait product. Most any insecticide will kill ants but unless they are biting you they are not likely causing a problem since ants typically feed on other insects or seeds but not often on tomatoes or other vegetables. Thanks for the question. Best wishes for a wonderful gardening season. Please stop in again soon! |
