How do I get rid of Spider Mites on my house plants |
Spider mites thrive in dry heated indoor air during the winter. Rinsing them with a spray of water in the sink once a week would help limit the build up of spider mites. Raising the humidity level can also help. Insecticidal soap will also control them; read and carefully follow all of the label directions and be sure to repeat as indicated. Cover all areas of the plant from top to bottom and both sides of the sides and all along the stems for best results. Lastly, if you summer your plants outdoors be sure to inspect them carefully before bringing them indoors in the fall. |
