I have a bradford pear tree for four years growing and now it has died. I let the trunk in place and now their is branches growing from the bottom.I would like to let them grow When and what do I do with the trunk?

I think the answer depends upon what killed the top of your tree in the first place. If it was environmental or cultural, I see no problem in selecting the strongest most upright sprout remain and allowing it to become a new pear tree. Prune away all the other suckers as they appear. It will take several years, but you'll eventually have a new pear tree.
