I have Iris' planted for a couple of years now but they never bloom. They are planted in the front of my property which gets plenty of sun and part shade. Can you tell me why they aren't blooming?

Iris bloom best when planted in rich soil in a location with full direct sun all day long. Iris should be divided every three years or so when the center of the clump becomes exhausted and blooming is reduced. If you have not divided them in a few years that might help. Divide them in late July, discard the old centers and replant young vigorous section of the rhizomes.
