|How do I prune a weeping cherry tree? I have tried trimming after it blooms, but it grows wild during the summer. Branches start growing every way but down like they should. Can you help? Thanks

|Prune off the errant branches as soon as they begin to develop. It won't hurt your tree and will make it a lot more attractive during the summer months. If your tree needs more drastic pruning, do it in the winter (knowing you'll be cutting off some of the potential bloom). Best wishes with your weeping cherry.
