|Every year I plant radishes and they do terrible.|
They are all top's and hardly anything below ground.Why is this?
|You may be planting at the wrong time. Radishes grow best when temperatures are cool; very early spring or fall crops develop fully. When growing in the summer, all the energy is directed into top growth. Wait until September to sow seeds and you should have better results with your radishes; next spring sow your seeds in April.|
