Last year I purchased a Peegee Hydrangea Tree. The label said it was hardy for zone 3. This year it did get leaves on it, but no actual new growth. I have it planted in full sun. Any ideas as to why it is not growing?

Hydrangeas like heat so it may not yet be warm enough to prompt new growth. Be sure to water thoroughly once or twice a week and feed lightly with a 5-10-10 once a year (spring time is best but you can apply fertilizer now).
Good luck with your garden!
