|I hav a young apple tree that is loaded, causing most of the branches to droop. Should I pick most of the apples to lighten the the load?|
|Apples are usually thinned early in the season or there is some fruit drop (the "June drop") as a sort of self pruning by the tree. Especially with a young tree, it would be a good idea to thin the apples to about ten inches apart. Here is more information about it -- scroll down the article a bit.|
Enjoy your apples!
