|My hydrangea done well for about a month after planting then it seems to be dying. I bought it in the spring and had it in the sun then read that it needed some shade so moved it and now it has blooms but they are brown in the middle. Looks like it is dying. What can I do? Thank you for your help.|
|You're correct, hydrangeas grow best when they are shaded from hot afternoon sun. I think that moving the plant twice during the growing season has shocked it a little and it will need some time to recover. You can prune off the sad looking flowers and then just water it deeply once or twice a week to help it become re-established in its new home. By next spring it should leaf out well and be happy.
Enjoy your garden!
