Flowering Tree - Knowledgebase Question

Please give me the names of some flowering trees or shrubs that will grow in very little sunlight. I love oleanders and crepe myrtles, but don't they need full sun to thrive? Thanks.

Flowers are difficult to come by in shady locations. Both oleanders and crapes can't cut it in the shade. Some plants to consider include azaleas, camellias, pieris, hydrangeas. If the shade is fairly bright and you can locate them where they can have their topgrowth sticking out into a little sun for part of the day you can add dogwood, redbud and Chinese witchhazel (Loropetalum).
