|I asked about my trumpet lily before but now the bottom of the trumpet lily leaves are going brown and dying. I think it is going to start going up the plant. I put some fertilizer one week ago and haven't watered it since. What is wrong with it? I do not think that is is going into dormant.|
|Aside from watering and fertilizing issues, disease and insects can cause leaves to turn brown. Without being able to personally examine the plant for fungal spores or signs of insects, I really can't diagnose the problem. You can look at the leaves with a magnifying glass, both upper and lower sides, and look for tiny black or brown spots (fungal spores) or insects.
Best wishes with your lily!
