which is the best time of the year to: 1.fertilize 2.pruning 3.transplant thanks |
Jorge, The best time to prune gardenias is after their summer bloom period ends, but they generally need very little pruning. You can do a little snipping of gangly shoot in the spring and early summer but don't do too much. If you need to transplant one November is the best time to do that. Fertilize them in spring, early summer and mid summer with a light dose of complete fertilizer following instructions on the bag or container. Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
