Waterlilies are carried by some Home Depot garden centers; if your local Home Depot doesn't carry them, check with any well stocked nursery. Water gardening is so popular that I'm sure you'll find many local sources. As for the wasps, there are traps on the market (lures contained in a one-way container), or aerosol wasp control products. If they are ground nesting wasps you can kill the colony by finding the entry to the nest and, after dark, place a clear glass bowl or inverted glass jar over the hole. In the morning the wasps will attempt to exit. They aren't smart enough to create another exit hole and will be stuck inside their nest. In about a week the nest should be dead and you can remove the glass cover and fill in the hole. (Use clear glass, not opaque.) Or, if the nest is suspended in a tree or from an eave, you can wait until dark when all the critters are in the nest and simply place a large black trash bag over the nest and twist it off, quickly tying the plastic bag. Leave it in the sunshine for a few days. As a precaution, do not use a flashlight when doing this - guard wasps can follow the light and sting you!
