|i have a 2 year old fig tree thats just been doing great. this past week we had 3 inches of rain and i noticed that the leaves are turning yellow and i'm not sure what to do with it|
Yellowing is normal when the soil is too soggy wet for too long. The area may not be well drained enough for the fig to thrive. If drainage is okay it will pull out of this when the soil dries out a bit. Feed the tree with a very light dose of turf fertilizer, about a cup spread evenly throughout a circular area extending 4 feet out from the trunk in all directions.
