|Why is there so many small mosquitoes in my indoor plants and do I get rid of them?
What can I do to prevent it from happening again?
|I don't think you have mosquitoes in your plants, but fungus gnats. These tiny little flies feed and breed in decaying organic matter - in this case, moist potting soil. To keep them from feeding and breeding, simply cover the top of the potting soil with sand or decorative rocks. This will act as a barrier to the potting soil and the little gnats will die off in a week or two.|
