|I have bought a burning bush from you about 2-3 months ago, but it has not shown any signs of new growth at all. I have fertilized it, and it also looks droopy sometimes. Do I need to bring it back to u guys?|
|If you planted your burning bush in the ground, it sounds as though it is struggling to establish itself. If the soil is well draining and if you water it deeply once or twice a week (twice if the weather is really hot), the roots should establish themselves this season. In the meantime, don't fertilize it. Fertilizer will encourage rapid top growth and at this point you want all of the plants' energy going into establishing the root system. Once the roots are happy, new top growth will appear. Be sure to water deeply when you do water, to encourage deep rooting. This will keep your burning bush from drooping in hot afternoon sunshine. Just give the plant a little more time to establish and I think you'll be happy with its growth.
Best wishes with your burning bush.
