I planted a young wisteria vine last spring in my side yard, but I now realize that it is probably not going to get enough sun. Can I safely transplant it elsewhere?

If your wisteria has only been in the ground for a year, it's barely had time to establish itself and develop an extensive root system. Transplant it before the weather warms and it puts out too many new shoots. If you can choose a cool, overcast dayto move it, so much the better. Just for general reference, late fall and early spring are usually the best times to transplant shrubs and trees.
