WOULD A PLUM DELIGHT CHINESE FRINGEFLOWER GROW WELL IN FRONT OF A GOLDMOUND SPIREA?

Yes it would grow there if the site got full to part day sun. However it will grow larger than the goldmound spirea over time and end up hiding it. I would plant the fringeflower behind the spirea.
