Thank you somuch for allowing me this opportunity!hERE ARE MY QUESTIONS:

(1) I Bought many Annuals and perennials pot plants from Home Depot, and transplanted them to a garden bed two and a half months ago. They are crowding each other now! Would it cause any harm if I transfer some of them out to a different bed??
(2) I used Lesco to fertilize my St.Augustine on June 20, 2007, but it didn't fight the weed.. How can I get red of the multiple weed growing on my st.augustine without burning it.

Thank you for your help

Amal,

You can transfer plants if you get a fairly large root ball in order to minimize their root disturbance and then water them in well promptly after reseting them in their new location. That said, it is a difficult time to transplant those plants.

I would not treat for weeds in your turf now. During the heat such products can really damage your turf and should be avoided. Hand pulling and just mowing and ignoring them is the best option for the summer season. One other option is to spot treat the weeds with a hand sprayer or wiper applicator trying to avoid getting the product on any of the desirable turf grass. This is not easy to do but if you really need to deal with some perennial weeds it may be an option to consider.

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
