|Every year my garden is full of Sunflowers that the finches devistate before I've been able to enjoy there beauty. Is there anything I can spray them with so they don't get gobbled up by the birds--w/o hurting either bird or plant? |Answer from NGA

|There's nothing you can spray on them but you can drape bird netting over the heads. Not very attractive, but it's one way to protect the seeds. I grow sunflowers specifically for the birds - I think they make attractive, natural birdfeeders!|
Best wishes with your garden!
