i have a grandfather oak that is split into a fork approx 3-5 ft from the ground. The left trunk was hit by lightning and had to be trimmed at the break. now I havea ton of off shoots growing at the the end of the cut approx, 6 feet from the first fork. I would prefer to get rid of the left fork completely but am worried about trimming it since the ffork is so low to the ground. Can i trim the 6 ft that still remain on the left fork at the truck? |
