We live in zone 11, and have had beautiful spreading juniper in front of our house facing West, they are about eight years old, they have started turning brown and very slowly dying. I cannot identify any visible problems. Watering has not changed. Please advise. |
Carole, Waterlogged soil is the first thing that comes to mind. If you feel this is not the problem then a fungal blight of the needled foliage and branches is the next most likely cause. Trim out and remove from the site all dead material and spray the plants with a product containing chlorothalonil (Daconil is one brand). Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
