|I have two hugh tomatoe plants that have yielded at least 300 tomatoes (beefsteak). They are the sweetest ad juicist ever. A few of the ones on the top of the plant are red but have a white spot on the top. Are these safe to eat if we cut off the white spot? What causes some of them to have white spots on the top? I have had no worms or bugs. Is it from the sun? Are they safe to eat?

|I suspect the white spots are sun scald. You can safely eat the tomatoes after cutting off the spots. Enjoy your beefsteaks!
