|Your zip code places you in USDA winter hardiness zone 6A or the coldest part of zone 6. Star jasmine or Trachelospermum jasminoides is only considered winter hardy outdoors into zone 8. So unfortunately it would not survive your winters planted outside. But it can be kept as a container plant and overwintered indoors. This is potentially a very large vine. Prune it as needed during the summer months to keep it smaller.
