I have a dracraena but it's real name is dracraena spikes. It does not have a stem yet but the spikes are larger then the ones that I have seen. Will it grow a stem?

The plant commonly called "Dracaena spike" is usually a Cordyline such as Cordyline indivisa. This plant usually grows about two feet tall and wide and does not really have a stem. The true dracaena plants grow taller over time and lose some of their lower leaves to reveal a stem.
