What do I do with my galdiolas after they have bloomed and start to fall over?

Dig up the bulb like structures called "corms" when foliage begins to turn yellow. Remove the foliage a few inches above the corm and dry the corms in a well ventilated area out of direct sun for a week or so. Cut the dried foliage off at the corm and remove the strong new corms from the expended "mother" corm. Also remove any small corms attached to it and roots. Brush away any soil clinging to the corms and store them in a cool place, ideally at about 40 to 50 degrees F.
