is there special care you need to give to bird of paridise. we bought 2 about 3 months ago. they had flowers on them, then the flowers died. never to bloom again

Your bird of paradise will bloom again if it is happy in the spot you've planted it. They normally begin blooming in late winter or early spring and will produce a succession of blooms until fall. Give your plant a little more time to adjust to its new growing environment and I'm sure it will bloom again for you.
