Raul,

There are many great plants for such an area. I would consider a variety of palms and some cycads too. Other plants include hibiscus, dwarf oleanders (poisonous), Pride of Barbados (Caesalpinia pulcherrima), Yellow Bells (Tecoma stans), Coral Tree (Erythrina crista-galli, Orchid Tree (Bauhinia purpurea) and some elephant ears, alocasia and colocasias.
