Which flowers would be best for an area that gets only about 2 hours of sun per day

This depends to some extent on what time of day the two hours of sun occur. If it is in the morning, you can use any shade tolerant plant. This would include perennials such as hosta and ferns or annuals such as impatiens.

If it is at noon time or during the afternoon, then your choice will be much more difficult as most shade tolerant plants are unable to withstand sudden exposure to intense, hot, summer sun. If this is the case, you might try a sedum of some sort or perhaps a Rudbeckia fulgida "Goldstrum" or possibly a small ornamental grass such as "Hameln" or "Little Bunny" and see how it does in that location.
