Are there any vegetables I can plant in zone 6B in August

There are quite a few vegetables you can plant in August. Seeding some fast maturing bush beans will give you a nice harvest this fall. You could also plant basil. Greens such as lettuce, Swiss chard, and spinach can also be grown as a fall crop if you can get them to germinate in the warm soil. You may also want to consider transplants of broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, and other kole crops along with seeding peas. Here is more information about fall vegetables you may find helpful.
