how much faster does the the rooting hormone make the plant or cutting grow?

Rooting hormone stimulates the plant cutting to begin sending out new roots from the stem node. The hormone is not always necessary for the cutting to root, but it does give an advantage. Rooting hormone will not make the rooting process any faster but it will increase your success rate.
