How do I care for Stargazers after the blooms have faded? The pot overwintered on my deck last year but I want to know how to properly care for them. Thank you.

You can cut the faded blooms off the plant, but leave the foliage alone. It will die down with the first frost. You can plant your stargazer lily bulb in the ground and it will return year after year. After frost has killed the top of your plant, dig the bulb out of the pot and plant it 3 times as deep as it is wide. Cover with soil and water it in well. Be sure to plant in a sunny location with well draining soil. You might want to mark where you've planted it. In the spring, it will send out a shoot and grow 4-6' tall. Enjoy your beautiful lily!
