Something is eating the leaves on our catalope plants. There seems to be small green eggs on some stems and the leaves are lacy. What can I use to stop this that will be safe on the fruit. Thanks!

Maryanne,

It is most likely a caterpillar of some sort. If so then products containing B.t. will be a safe control option. It may also be a beetle. Then you would have to go with something stronger. I suggest your turn over a few leaves to try and find out "who dun it". You may need to go out at night with a flashlight as some pests are nocturnal.

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
