|The flower is spent and you should cut if off the plant. After a while your plant will produce little plants called pups at the base. When these pups are 4-5" tall they can be separated from the parent plant and potted up. Each of these pups will grow and produce a flower. Once a bromiliad has flowered it will live for a while and then it will die. Your bromiliad will not flower again but the offsets or pups will.
