Since it is so hot here in the summer, my plants don't seem to produce very long before they start to dry up. I want to plant some fall vegs and herbs. What is the best time to start them? All suggestions accepted. Thank You,Rose

Rose,

October is the best time to plant perennial herbs in your area. As far as vegetables are concerned the times to plant vary depending on the particular vegetable. The following web site lists some planting dates for you to use:
