Hi, This year I seem to have adopted a load of Chipmonks. (I addedes a small pond last year) How can I get rid of them without killing them? I thought 1 or 2 were cute, but now there seems to be so many. They like the rocks around my pond..

Chipmunks are attracted to rocky areas and can undermine rock walls, steps or patios by tunneling behind or beneath them. I would be a little concerned about the soil disturbance around the pond perimeter for this reason.

You might be able to exclude them by covering the stones with wire mesh such as hardware cloth and extending that outward to prevent them digging in underneath the stone, but it would not be very attractive looking. Unfortunately, they are quite difficult to discourage, but you may find the following suggestions helpful.

I hope this helps.
