Raised bed planters - Knowledgebase Question

Is there any disadvantage of using a product like Trex to build a raised bed planter? I live in zone 4.

Trex will last a long, long time, but I've had experience with it buckling unless it is well braced at the corners and, depending upon the length of the sides, braced along the edges, as well. Aside from that, Trex is an excellent garden timber.
