| Squirrels can be very difficult to stop. If a spray on repellent is not working, you might try a different brand of repellent. Be sure the products are labeled for rodents or squirrels. If rotating between brands does not work, then you can try to cage your plants with wire mesh to prevent the squirrel from reaching them. For newly planted bulbs, dipping each bulb in a repellent such as RoPel and/or covering the soil surface with window screening or wire mesh usually prevents them from digging up the bulbs. |
