I have noticed the outer tips of the leaves on my tropical plants turning brown. The plants seem to be growing otherwise. What is the problem?

The most common causes of brown leaf tips is lack of humidity, or water that's been treated with fluoride or chlorine. Some plants are more sensitive than others to the chemicals in water, so you might want to try using bottled water on those plants that exhibit browning tips. Try also to increase humidity around the plants.

Best wishes with your tropical garden!
