I would like to plant Mondo Grass in a decorative area ( 4'X4'), is it too late in the season to plant Mondo Grass? I live in Dallas, Tx.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Either spring or fall are good seasons for planting. Those seasons are usually cool, with abundant rainfall, which will help the roots become established quickly. I'd plant the mondo grass now so it will become established before its spring growth spurt.

Best wishes with your garden!
